homeless dad with kids

Ok, so I'm getting ready to become homeless. I hear the state or federal government has a definition different than my own, my own being living without a home. Yes, not borrowing space in someone's home, or whatever else there could be other than living out of your car.

So, I'm getting ready. I'm giving away what I have a 'the house,' which feels like what a person does before a suicide: Purge. Strange, in a way. Taxes, child support, and student loans have sunk me. Sound ridiculous? Imagine that I am a fairly conservative money spender and it will seem even more ridiculous. Why did I get a degree in English? Who knows; guess I just liked it. Why would I have kids I can't support? They were planned, my ex has family money and said she'd never take me for support. Ha. Ha. Ha. :)

It could be worse. I've never sold out, my kids are safe, and I have all my limbs. I'm unemployed, so sleeping in isn't an unaffordable luxury. I haven't had a heart attack (yet).
How does one start over? I guess you can't. Who would if they could anyway? If I have to die, I hope I freeze to death here in Michigan. I hear freezing it a painless way to go.

It's an illusion that 'only the good die young.' The truth is, people live on, it's just the goodness that dies. Maybe the lesson of the day is one should never trust a person over 30. :) Don't wish me luck -this is my adventure. You get none of it.

community first: don't die for a capitalist

I don't believe I can defend this position except with my opinion, so it's here because I feel and think it should be said, but I imagine you will disagree. Just include YOUR opinion.
God is against gambling. God is the embodiment of chance. Don't ask God to prove Godsself, therefore, don't gamble without understanding you must lose.
A religious society (not a society of organized religion, but a society that believes in GOOD, one that does not empower its powerful constituents via the ability to punish its powerless constituents, but a society of community that via empathy and concern empowers all of its constituents to live safely and prosper, not in wealth, but in abundance of safety) is necessary as the basis for the best society. The most current name for this idea is socialism, but the name or word socialism contains stigmas related to Russia and their failed socialism. The personality types that corrupt socialism are people who have no self, the politician types who will say and do and represent anything, any idea, any phrase, any person in the effort to possess power personally. This is the essential definition of a politician (they make the decisions in America- that should scare you if you are intelligent.).
Once the base of the society is the community, where food, shelter, heat, electricity, transportation and health insurance are possessed by everyone, which they earn by working according to their capacity (and it should be illegal to work more than 40 hours a week, and all people should not work on voting days), a small wage equal across the board for all Americans should be kept for free enterprise or entertainment, etc..., for capitalism.
To sum up, GOOD should be the priority, where all children, women, and men are provided housing, food, electricity, heat, and transportation by the government in exchange for working 40 hours a week (for children, getting educated is their job). Beyond that, a very small wage is earned during that 40 hours for gambling (capitalism) or personal spending.
With a limit of 40 hours, people will be steered toward spending time with their children, and that time will not be punished by allowing their competition to spend more than that amount of time competing against them.
Inheritance should be disallowed, as should gifts. This is to ensure that parents spend time teaching their children the survival skill of community instead of teaching them that the most single-minded and twisted person wins. I personally know many millionaires who understand that capitalism cleaves them from their family, but they must do it to keep their family ahead of their competition. If capitalism were stalled and inheritance abolished, we would save people from themselves, and stop them from hurting us via their isolationist interests. I also know many millionaires who inherited their wealth instead of working for it. They would say that they had earned it via their destroyed childhoods, or the blood of their fathers. These are the broken people of war. Capitalism destroyed them. Even in their success they are less than human. How dangerous is a person broken by a war-like ravaged childhood, who believes to have learned that ethics and morals are useless and impractical, a person not whole but missing a piece, who has massive wealth to reproduce and expand their personal loss upon others, and who, via their wealth, feels they do not need psychological help but have instead been recreated in a proper form by  their emotional amputations? Capitalism stole from them and lies to them, and we don't stop it. Then they abuse us and we complain.
We have no one to blame but ourselves if we do not act and vote and change the American community, for us living now and for our children and for generations that will live in the future, which is our wake. We have power, yet we sit on it because we don't believe it. We must change America into a community of common-sense, and throw away the uncommon-sense, the lies and subterfuge, of capitalism.
Is capitalism good for new growth? I worked at a sign company once. I asked, if we made signs and business cards for all these businesses, shouldn't we run out of businesses to work for? Or maybe they came back for replacements. My bosses answered, 9 out of 10 new businesses fail. We keep supplying the new businesses that take their place. People trying to create the same business which just failed someone else, and lost them all their money. 90% failure.
So if you believe that capitalism is good and should be the primary means of running the country, you can look forward to 90% failure. That's a big shit sandwich you get to eat, unless of course you are wishing it on someone else, which you probably are in capitalist America.
We need to save ourselves and our neighbors from gambling our lives away against the rich, the 'house', and use OUR government to make sure that FIRST we are all safe. Then we can gamble extra money at a new idea, a new invention, some new technology. If my country cared for me and my family first, excess second, then I would defend my country. That's a country I would shoot a gun to defend, and put myself in harm's way to defend. But not before.

felony slave class

I am not a felon, but a felon has no chance of becoming a good citizen. Felons don't have the right to vote. Voting is the second best form of government. The best is no government at all. Voting and having a representative diminishes your voice. It allows you to work while someone speaks for you at the same time in a different location. They may not represent your interests at all. Having a representative is more organized and efficient, and the price is that you are partially represented or not at all even if you voted for them. You do not even know what they are asked to make decisions on. After you vote you have given your sovereignty as a free person away to a total stranger.

The opposite of waiting for your next chance to vote is bloody revolution. Felons can not vote, so they are left with violence as their option. They have no option. Do felons behave with criminal thoughts toward the general population? You bet. And don't kid yourself. You would too if it was the only way you could survive and retain your sense of self or sense of sovereignty. Do they strike out at the rich and powerful? No. Striking against the rich and powerful is suicide. They are sure to be hunted and caught or murdered by the police force or a private force for crimes against the rich and powerful. Survival dictates that they strike against the general people. The american system of government and law needs only money and protects only money. It needs and protects only people who possess money.

Therefore, the system denies the right of felons to be citizens, but retains the right to tax them as it would citizens.
Therefore, felons are transformed into slaves and have no chance of trying to be good citizens.
Therefore, felons are released into the general population with a criminal attitude.
Therefore, a community of people who dislike the system are not allowed to vote.
Therefore, the rich and powerful are safe from a community of people who disagree with the system that empowers them.
Therefore, the system enables the rich and powerful to remain safe from physical violence and in exchange exposes general people to physical violence.

Solution to free america and set the community right: Stop stealing the felons' right to vote. Give back the felons' citizenship so they have the chance again to try to be good citizens.
